All of the Tuareg tribal silver adornment you see here on this website were hand-made and co-created together with the Koumama family of Tuareg silversmiths in Agadez, Niger, West Africa. My most recent trip was from November of 2006 through March of 2007. I spent 4 months there living and working together with various silversmiths and walking from area to area and artisan to artisan to insure the highest quality possible in form, design, stone-setting, hand-engraving and finishing. At this time, I am unable to go to Agadez, Niger due to anti-government activity by the Movement for Justice in Niger or MNJ which strives for greater economic and political autonomy for the Tuareg people. Subseqently, many of the silver pieces I bead and sell are precious and irreplaceable at this time.

As for my carnelian and leather talismans mixed with old Tuareg crosses or authenic African rings or any of my old african trade bead creations... many of these components are pieces that I have researched, looked for and found while walking endless sweaty distances in African villages or capital cities or in and out of artisan and local markets during my travels.

It is my hope that you will one day touch your own mystical soulsource through the magic of wearing any one of these powerful amulets or adornments and thus experience the endless beauty of the Sahara and her nomads... the living earth spirit of Africa, the Motherland, as it is profoundly deep, ancient and epic. Bless.
